“Little Kostakis” belongs to the category of folk songs characterized generaly as “Paraloges” (Short Epic Poems). It is one of the best known paraloges and is found in various versions in many parts of Greece. A second version of the song entitled “\u0397 \u03bc\u03ac\u03bd\u03b1 \u03b7 \u03c6\u03cc\u03bd\u03b9\u03c3\u03c3\u03b1” is recorded in this Archive, in the category Folk Poetry – Short Epic Poems.<\/p>\n
